Article: Government "We are changing all plastic water bottles sold in convenient stores to glass bottles"

Source: Insight via Instagram

1. [+1,017] It's going to be extra difficult for the delivery people, the staff stocking this in the stores, and the people buying it... sigh...

2. [+902] I think selling it in cartons like milk is a good idea, too... Sure, it might be off putting at first, but I think we can get used to it and it'd be a lot easier to buy and drink.

3. [+446] It's a good change but what about the price?

4. [+687] I think it'd be easier to find better ways of recycling plastic...

5. [+109] I read that recycling glass is actually difficult ㅋ is this connected to a glass production company somehow?

6. [+71] It's going to be so hard to carry around heavy glass bottles ㅠㅠ

7. [+66] A lot's going to shatter;;

8. [+32] I guess that means prices will also go up

9. [+32] Cartons should be an easier alternative. Glass is so difficult from transportation to collecting as trash...

10. [+43] The whole point of convenience stores is to drop by for a quick buy, glass bottles are going to be a big inconvenience..

11. [+32] Glass is also dangerous for children to handle ㅠ

12. [+23] Guess we can't freeze it for ice water either ㅠ

This ain't going to end very well

milk use to be in glass bottles. also there are other drink brands in glass bottles too. so manufactures and store workers should not have a huge problem.

customers, well they'll just have to handle their water better.

or carry their own water from home. (which is better)

They should put potable water "fountains" or whatever people call it in english in supermarkets or outside so people could refill their glass bottles.

There are these "water houses" outside already, the next step is putting them in supermarkets. But yeah, corporations.

drink tap water if its clean where u live tbh. i used to drink a bottle of 1l in 1 or 2 days, i stopped last year after i bought a solid plastic bottle and it probably saved me from buying 150/200+ plastic bottles 😛
