I keep saying it, BTS and what they have achieved is an anomaly it's not something that would have been easily derived. If that was the case a huge company with many resources would have already achieved such long running success eon's ago.

I can't read the article...but I think this whole "controversy" stems from the journalist who wrote the article, not Lee Soo Man.

the way he’s been acting trying to take some claim and edit himself in having anything to do with this new wave of kpop advancing to the west, something he repeatedly failed at getting to happen, just shows how it BURNS him that someone else was able to do it. it kills him he isn’t part of it.

like i don’t think people truly understand how frustrating this whole thing must be for the guy. he’s used to having the IT boy and girl groups. he’s had them on repeat for years. but this time around, not only does he not, but both IT groups were able to break into a market he couldn’t. AND they have massive fandom support from the other market he’s been sniffing around since suju-m. the jokes write themselves at this point.
