Do you rant about your bias sometimes?

Not really but I understand where you're coming from. I hold my biases up to higher standards and judge them harder than my non-bias idols and thus there are times when I'm not fully satisfied with them. But I really do love them and that's why I expect more from them. It's all in my head though. I don't go on full-fledged rants.

I’m always ranting about my faves in my head but fans don’t wanna hear it and get super annoying so I try to keep it to myself. But I’ve made threads on here and tweet rants before.

The “fake fan” “anti” thing is just the easiest way to discredit what a disappointed fan is saying, it’s so rude.

Hmmm I publicly said that she's annoying etc several times and fellow fans agreed with me. In a loving way. Is criticizing a rant? If it is, I always do but I rarely, if ever, say it. As someone above said, I put my faves on higher pedestal so I expect them to do better each time. I just don't want their real dislikers to find and use it to attack them.

Oh I meant rant about their "weakness". I often voiced my opinion on their styles and 'choice of life'.

I'm not a ranter but I think it's silly that people get called "fake fans" just because they don't 100% love everything their bias/group does. you can still support someone even if you aren't happy with particular choices they make, whether it's music, behavior, fashion choices, or the kinds of people they associate with or admire (looking at all the male idols who say they love chris brown in 2020)

What do you mean exactly?

Like rank in terms of comparing them with my other bias? Or in terms of talent?

I red it as "rank", lol. I would drag my faves because there are things I wish they would correct about themselves and their behaviour but I don't because I'm too lazy to do so.

Sometimes I have my "shady days" and say "oh man stop of acting as softboy to please to kfans if your real personality is more savage" or I observe things behind the scenes and I say "maybe they are not closest as before" but I still support them because I still like their music and they are humans too.

No. There was one occasion where she was in a scandal and I kinda took a step back. I was kinda like 'well I'm not Asian and have never lived in Asia so while it seems like this has been blown out of proportion, it did seem like she messed up and did need to take some criticism for what she did'. I wasn't gonna directly bash but I wasn't going to mindlessly defend just because I adore her. You know, loving someone, just in general should mean allowing them to grow from their mistakes and I kinda feel like by going into protective stan mode, it wouldn't really help anything. That said, I did kinda regret it after a while because the level to which the backlash was taken was definitely overboard with her being kicked off of a show, brand sponsorships being dropped, the way she was shoved to the back for their comeback and lbr, for a couple of years, was kinda witchhunted out of the country. Completely out of proportion to her mistake. Was is a pretty stupid and badly timed mistake? Yeah but at the end of the day, it was a mistake and there are so many other male idols who have been allowed to continue with their careers after ACTUAL crimes. SO out of proportion.
