Like if there are people walking through a door, and a person is waiting for the doorway to clear, you might smile at them if you make eye contact as they walk through because it's... polite? Like "thank you for waiting" But if you accidentally just make eye contact with someone while walking around in most situations, no. Maybe if you're just in a really good mood.
