The latest entry in this unexpected and ironic series of events is NMB48 performing promoting the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals during their Koi Nanka No Thank You performance on CDTV. Each member was given a goal: 1. No Poverty (Miru) 2. Zero Hunger (Saepii) 3. Good Health and Well-being (Cocona) 4. Quality Education (Nagisa) 5. Gender Equality (Aayan) 6. Clean Water and Sanitation (Haruka) 7. Affordable and Clean Energy (Uuka) 8. Decent Work and Economic Growth (Wakapon) 9. Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (Chihhi) 10. Reduced Inequalities (Karin) 11. Sustainable Cities and Communities (Rei) 12. Responsible Consumption and Production (Mikana) 13. Climate Action (Suu-chan) 14. Life Below Water (Hara Karen) 15. Life On Land (Momone) 16. Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (Shinshin) 17. Partnership for the Goals (Yuumin) All goals (Akarin) Excluded due to child labor regulations (Keito) Is this a sign that the 48-groups are going sustainable in the future? Are the days numbered for CD-driven handshake events?
