As I am writing this, Winter is sitting at 930k, Karina at 693k, Ningning at 410k and Giselle at 304k. In just a mere day and for a rookie group, I'd say those are incredible views. The K-Choreo video is about to hit 2 million in just a day as well.

Am I the only one not understanding what people find to winter? Almost everyone is saying she is a stan attractor, she is SUPER pretty, eye-catching etc but she just seems like a normal idol to me. I would have imagined seeing Karina receiving all this attention.

That's how I am with Karina. Everyone was hyping her up and I thought I would immediately be drawn to her, and then I saw her and I was impressed, but I was way more impressed with both Winter and Ningning. Not to mention, Winter and Ningning's vocals are amazing. It felt like SM wanted to hype up Karina so bad as their new IT girl, and she will likely be the one to pop off, but Winter's the complete package to me and she's so cute and charming as well. I'd say Karina's SYNK video is to blame for a lot of it. The choreography is not good. Is it Kyle Hanagami again? He really screwed them over with that.

Since posting this thread 41 minutes ago, her fancam got 16,000 more views. She was like a dark horse, in the teaser, concept photos and so on, nobody expected her to be this much of a stan attractor, and then the MV dropped and so many of us were sold.

"thanks" to her 3 controversial group mates, she's the only one with pristine profile, on top of her lovely visual, good dancing and vocal skill.

If anyone wants to stan aespa it is safest to go with Winter, which is one of the reasons why she is the most popular right now.

Winter has that ethereal image and classical beauty -lately kpop didn't debut ethreal beauty bc ifans rarely appreciate that kind of beauty but koreans fans appreciate and missed that kind of ethereal beauty-. She surprised everbody with her talents so she isn't only "the visual". And maybe when a company pushes a lot a certainly member like Kai, Taeyong or Jennie cases now Karina always people wants to choose another fave as stan attractor like Baekhyun, Jaehyun, Lisa and now Winter. Plus she has zero predebut scandals. She had a calm predebut life in Busan.

My bias is NingNing but I understand why people like Winter the most. Nobody knew of her existence as an SM trainee (unlike Karina & NingNing) and even after she was revealed, there was barely any information out there about her (unlike Giselle). SM also had her do random stuff for her video teaser unlike the other members who all showed off their personal skills. It's the mistery surrounding her that had people hooked so when the MV dropped, people were mesmerized by her visuals, dancing and singing. She's basically the "Seulgi" of Aespa, the most skilled member and most likely to be the bias of casual Aespa fans.

Lmao I admit that as someone that doesn't stan Red Velvet I like Seulgi the most but I won't stan Aespa and I like NingNing the most. I liked Karina before the debut. Winter doesn't attract my attention at all

Can someone explain? I just watched her fancam because of how everyone's raving and it has 1m+ views, and she had no facial expressions the whole time 0_0

I'm not an vespa stan and don't have a particular member I like, but while watching Winter's fancam, my eyes kept going to Karina and NingNing and even Giselle because their facials were so good. Winter had almost no facial expressions except for during her part - she reminded me a lot of Irene. 

I know people will get mad for me saying this but I genuinely am not saying it out of hate or anything. I like her, she's a good singer and cute in their interviews, but I am genuinely confused - what is it about her stage that makes her fancam so appealing if it's not the facial expression? She doesn't have any expressions and she seems to have the same amount of stage presence as the rest of the members, though I think NingNing seems the most comfortable and confident on stage.

Yeah, I agree that NingNing seems like the better performer. But I don’t really find any problem with Winter not showing much expressions when it isn’t her part. Especially if you watched the performance, she really isn’t shown unless it is her parts. You’d think she’d be shown if she’s right next to another member, but the camera man zooms up so close to that member, you don’t really see Winter, tbh.

Maybe I’m just being biased and creating excuses for her, but I can see facial expressions from her. Not as prominent as NingNing or Giselle since they mostly show it through their smile and smirks. I can see more of it through Winter’s gaze and eyebrows.

What an embarrassing thing to call her the Seulgi ze spa. None of them are near red velvet talent especially Seulgi talent

Winter's hair is wavy whereas Giselle's hair is straight. Giselle's eyes are also positioned closer together whereas Winter's eyes are spaced a little further apart according to the fancam screencap in the OP.

I think the easiest way and the one I ended using was that Winter has blue highlights in her hair

Well duh? They debuted barely a week ago, they're not going to be perfect. I'm just saying that Winter is the most well-rounded member in Aespa just like Seulgi is in Red Velvet. I was comparing their positions within their groups, nothing more and nothing less.

Winter and Giselle are easy for me to tell apart, they've got different face shapes that you can notice more when they're in action as opposed to still pics. Winter has a more petite face and sharper/more pronounced chin than Giselle while Giselle has a fuller face shape and more rounded chin. The shape of their eyes and eyebrows is also different as well; Winter's eyebrows look somewhat straight where there's an curve/arch to Giselle's eyebrows.
