We've been getting bops after bops this year anyway, STAYC got a lot of buzz for their classic beauty and the fact they are produced by BEP but I didn't expect to like their debut song this much? I mean, they already have distinctive tones, the song is super catchy especially that pre-chorus finally YOON is such a queen, unique looks and also great vocals? I stan! I love the MV and the concept / songs are different from what other gg are doing especially rookies. They also have great visuals, good vocals and distinctive voices. My favorite gg debut this year along with weeekly and secret number and I think they have big potential to be a dark horse of the 4th gen like Mamamoo/Gfriend/OMG for the 3rd gen. Doing JYP, SM, YG, BH covers Their approach to predebut promotion was fantastic. And they have a brilliant producer too. I predict they're gonna be monster rookies. So far they snatched rookie competition IMO. Not to mention the visual feast. I am shocked about Yoon. I thought she's just gonna be one of those visual with lack of talent but she actually has the vocal skills and being a lead vocalist on top of that. A visual that's also a vocalist? What a threat! I might stan. Tbh all the girls are talented in this group. The maknae with bop hair has a deep voice which shocked me too. Like this girl really stood among rookie ggs. So far I feel like I'm more interested in STAYC than aespa tbh, sorry aespa. I feel like this is the first non-Big 3 gg and from a small company that I might stan. That's what I'm afraid too. Their debut song without being a masterpiece is a very solid and catchy song, with potential to become one of those "iconic" debuts with the time so I'm afraid it's gonna be like Itzy that nothing they released after Dalla2 did it for me except Wannabe kinda.
