Companies hold sex education classes for trainees, do they hold more?

I never really thought of this before. I knew they had English classes since most companies want to expand to western market. But it seems like a really good idea since the trainees probably spent more time at the company than at school. I wonder if they hold more classes (like math, science, etc)?

Honestly it kind of seems like the thing JYP Ent would invest in, I don't know if this kind of thing is actually standard

But it's a good idea, to let them ask questions. Don't most trainees start out really young? Young teenagers really do need a chance to ask questions about sex without being judged. I have a memory from high school in a sex ed class where one of the most "annoying" kids asked a legitimate, well-intended question and the teacher just scoffed at him and ignored him. Like what is that? Let teenagers ask questions.

Frankly, they should have good sexual education before debuting in a highly-sexualized industry... they should know what is going on. Being naive keeps them vulnerable and educating them prevents that.

Doesn't they learned that back in elementary school? Even if they spend more time at the agency, school and especially parents should be in charge of this.

I'm not sure about Korea but in the US sex education isn't taught until middle school. I didn't learn about sex education until 8th grade.

Where I'm from, it was in 6th grade. Yeah, I don't know much about Korea. I only know sex is something that is even more taboo than in the west.

Wasn't it separated with boys in one room and girls in another room? They should honestly just make both gender learn about the other gender altogether.

Like I said,  they just taught us how to use pads and showed us how our parts work

That's all

I didn't knew how to use birth control till my 20s o.o which I learnt from my mom lol

Otherwise I agree we should learn such things together, I have no idea why they insist on separating when it's something both sexes should be aware of

Damn. How come they never teach you any of that stuff? That's weird, they should have.

I'm pretty sure that Weki Meki got sex education classes, or something like that. I think it should be a standard, it has been proven that proper Sex Ed decreases the rate of teenage pregnancy, STDs and accidental pregnancies. I also think it helps lowering r*pe rates if taught properly without blaming the girls obviously. It may costs more at first for agencies but in the long run they're winning: less scandals due to idols sleeping left and right without any protection.

I learnt in sex ed in middle school that swallowing c*m can gives STDs, same for oral sex in general but the majority of people I know had no idea it was possible, even though the chances are really low it is still possible and something people should know. I never got real sex education classes as I was in a catholic school but when we did the chapter about reproduction in biology, that's when our teacher taught us a few things. I wish we got them even though I've never needed them yet and as an adult I know enough things to be responsible if I ever have a relationship.

I also think that cultural awareness classes should be given, at the very least to the staff.

It could depend on your area because I’m in the US as well, but I had sex ed beginning in 5th grade

the only thing I learned in 5th grade was that women get periods and what we should do if we get our period, like they separated the guys and the girls for the hour long talk (they called the talk a "tea party" for the female students for some reason). All the other sex education stuff, I didn't learn until 8th grade health class (although that class was like "abstain" so in actuality I didn't get a real sex education until high school). This was like back in the 00s.
