LoonAespa 610
The orbit fandom is quite small but they have more fans in the US than many bigger kpop acts, plus they're extremely dedicated, and now they're trying to make Loona debut on BB200 so that they get more recognition in Korea as the 1st non-big3 group to achieve that (the only ggs to achieve this are 2NE1, SNSD, BLACKPINK and TWICE) Most of Orbits that I know on twt bought at least 4 physical on the BBC US Store and 4 digital copies on Itunes, the album peaked at #1 on US itunes and stayed on the top 200 for more than 10 days. They doubled their US album units sales for the first week (from 3K for # to almost 7K for 12:00) all of them are digital, since physical albums from the US store started shipping in the 2nd week and they're estimated to be at least 10K. They already managed to debut on the Rolling Stones Albums Chart last week (at #182) and they're in a much higher place according to this week's predictions (#38) , they're most likely debuting on BB200 on next tuesday's update. So the question is? do you think that such achievement will give them enough recognition among the korean gp and for their songs to start charting much higher on the main korean charts? himi 2,493
My guess is it will probably be more or less the same unless they chart very high there. On a side note i'm still impressed 2ne1 managed to crack the chart in 2014 without having a us promotion. Imagine if yg didn't end them-
