Is Kpop becoming boring or am I just too old?

When you're new to kpop it's like discovering a whole new world. So much to explore! But the "newness" of it eventually fades with time. Everyone goes through this phase at least once, OP. Some are able to get over the hump, while others can't and move on. At the end of the day, Kpop is just music like any other genre. If you still enjoy the music then you'll be fine eventually.

I'd just stick with listening to the music, watching the mv once or twice and looking at some concepts. All the shows and everything else aren't necessary to enjoy Kpop. I don't stan specific idols or groups either, so I don't have that "loyalty" to stick around when the music sucks. If you put out good music I'll stay and listen. If you don't then bye.

This is good advice for people who are done with the whole being part of a fandom culture.

or this is for people who like stanning groups:

Guess I'm trying to say it's a matter of finding that one group that makes you wanna do those things again. I kinda resisted to LOONA at first, because I didn't wanna be an "auntie fan", but whatever, enjoy what you enjoy as long as it's not hurting anybody.

Groups can't stay active and relevant forever. Eventually younger groups will come along and new generation will start. So if you're not able to keep up and find a young group you can support, then kpop is going to get boring real fast. Yes, I also noticed some people are afraid of getting older and stanning younger groups. That mindset needs to go. Kpop is just music. Suport whoever you like.
