EDAM Entertainment Is Searching For Their Next IU

IU‘s agency, EDAM Entertainment took to social media to announce that they’re searching for their next IU through their first audition since establishment.

(website: http://edam-ent.com/eng/sub06/sub06_0601.php)

In the shared notice, EDAM Entertainment expressed their desire to find an artist with well-rounded talents: "EDAM Entertainment, which is ahead of the times and flips predictable thoughts upside down, is waiting for an artist with well-rounded talents. We ask that many people register."

They are accepting applications from both singers and actors, and there’s no restriction in terms of nationality, sex, age, or education. The applications can be submitted via email, and those who pass the first round of document screening will proceed into an offline audition process.

Last January, IU signed an exclusive contract with EDAM Entertainment. EDAM Entertainment was founded by the CEO who was by IU’s side since her debut, and this is the first time the agency has held an audition to select trainees.

Omg how many sublabels Kakao M has? 😮 I just thought she left and established her own independent company.

Ngl, a gg and even a bg produced by IU would be interesting and will immediately get attention from the public.

music : playm, creker, starship, flex m

acting : e&t story, bh ent, management soop, j wide company, awesome ent, vast ent

might end up like fiestar, history or high4 though, they got iu to promote them when they debuted and flopped after (except fiestar)

Who's even under flex m? lol. It's the first time I hear about that sublabel.

I always forget that those 3 were directly under loen but all flopped (fiestar did a bit better but afaik they were kinda like 9muses, decently popular but never had major hits or big sales).

indie artists and producers, but the label is very recent (like created last year i think?)

high4 weren't under loen, just had 2 members that used to trained there for some times

I would want a gg but I’d be interested regardless of gender
