Unlike the time Infinite became big, mediocrity is now being celebrated and having quality music/skills are just optional. Infinite hit big because they were praised for their dancing skills and Be Mine was a really good song- two factors which really won't get anyone anywhere anymore these days. Many groups (especially "nugus") release really good and unique concepts and don't go anywhere. Plus there's way too many groups in the market already so it's way harder to stand out unlike when Infinite debuted that the market wasn't so oversaturated. But I think Drippin has the potential to be pretty successful. They just debuted and they've already become the high charting rookie in Genie, which it's impressive.
