Do you have a “type” when it comes to fighting game characters?

Who are you usually drawn to, what styles?

8/10 times I’m picking a WOMAN, and I gravitate towards the innocent type. And if it’s man, it has to be a man who moves pretty fast.

In Smash I like Peach and Sonic.

In Soul Calibur I like Sophitia and Yunseong or Kilik

In tekken I like Xiaoyu and Bryan or Eddie or Hwaorang

Mortal Kombat, D’vorah was fun.
Superhero games, anybody who can fly.

Usually I'll choose the men if they're any pretty ones. For some reason it motivates me to play the game more lmao

I tend to drift from the women because I don't feel like hearing them make weird sounds when they injured or whatever, but when I do pick them it's usually the cheerful type or the 'elegant' types.

Abilities wise I prefer fast movers so i can focus on just hitting the buttons to fight. My reaction time is slow enough as it is. I'm a big fan of long-distance weapon types but besides that swords are fun.

The only fighting game I have ever played seriously was Tekken and I mained Lili (and a little Asuka).

I honestly liked her mostly for her moveset, loved how fast-paced it was and how it allowed me to jump around, but I do like her as a character too. She's this mix of "classy but will kick your ass" which I've always liked. Also a funny character in general.

Generally I prefer female characters with agile movesets.
