I understand you feelings, Jeonghan went through the same thing and honestly he cut his hair not because he was bored of it, but because fans would intentionally misidentify, mislabel or misgender him alot, even when he said he is very uncomfortable with it.

Its something hard to warn people with, because you expect people to know how uncomfortable this is. I hope Hyunjin doesnt let it bother himself, I would hate to see long hair becoming some type of trauma for him too.
