Difference is that most of Wooseok's credits are for his own lyrics, while most of Hui's are for composing not just Pentagon's songs, but also songs for other people. I don't doubt that Energetic has earned him more royalties than most of Pentagon's discography combined.

Congrats Ravi!!!

And wow I didn't knew Woozi and Vernon were that high!! :ahmagah:

Woozi already was praised for having produced a lot of songs last time i saw him talk about it in weekly idol i think he had like 60 songs (his estimation ) .... i think some of those listed are lyricists rather than producers

I know he is praised i just didnt knew he was that up next to other idols o.o I ofc know how great (and amazing) (and perfect) he is but never thought of comparing him with others on a list lol

Ravi is so high tho it will be hard for any idol to break his record for a long time, he truly works hard T^T

that part of the industry been targeted by idols for a couple of years now ...everyone jumping to that train to try make a living out of it but Something you need to keep in mind not everyone listed are producers some are just lyricists  and not everything get you $$$  lol you can have 100 songs but if it not used in broadcast/drama/shows or it not charting  it won't get you anything

Then it's most efficient for active idols or very talented idols right o.o? When they perform their songs, do they get copyright money I wonder...

That's right this chart tallies credits for lyrics, song composition, and/or arrangement. [x]

I expected Woozi to be high since he also wrote/composed for IOI, Nuest, Ailee, Tobi Lou, etc.
Also CN ver, JPN ver, and KR ver are counted separately.
In fact, he and the other Seventeen members should be higher bc there are songs where they haven't been credited,  even though they remixed and/or co-wrote the lyrics
like Midsummer Night's Dream Sunshine remix (Yoo Ara x Seventeen)
their Bindaetteok Gentleman Remix for their special Music Core perf,
Going Seventeen Opening and Ending Songs
and most recently 17 Remix (PinkSweat$ feat DK and Joshua)

True, wooseok also wrote energetic tbh (and never, even tho pd said it was triple h it was huidawn & wooseok 😭) hes also written one of the original songs from the unit, (No Way) also since debutish wooseok had writing credits for rap in like title tracks & occasional bsides. And their first few albums it was only like an occasional song that was written by hui or jinho. Since demo 01 tho basically hui, jinho, kino, shinwon..etc slways writing basically all their bside (w title by hui + producer) interesting bc looking thru their disco wooseok is credited almost every song since demo 01 i have a feeling he may comtribute more than his part but those songs to me are still more "kino songs" or "hui songs" cuz theyd be main writer.  I am curious of what a wooseok song sounds like 🧐 looka like there's one he is only credited for on their upcoming album tho ill look forward to it. I guess Always Difficult Always Beautiful is a wooseok song tho bc that one he is credited before kino. I do rly love that song 🥰

Honestly tho besides tge unit (and energetic/never) don't i don't rmr if wooseok has writtwn outside of for ptg or features. Im pretty sure kino and jinho has sev times tho. And ofc hui has often. That's so cool to me.  Like they're really songwriters 😭😭 i love them

Hm this chart is made separately right? The one who made might not know about remixes. Also yes lyricists are on the list because Vernon rarely composes/arranges but wrote ALOT of songs. I think chart doesn't count remixes tbh because if it did woozi would be breaking the 70 easily, otherwise svt has alot of composed yet not shared songs, their solos, SoundCloud songs and Us, Again, I wonder if those are counted

wait whatt

As discussed above, Wooseok is credited for his raps in every single Pentagon song, but Hui hasn't contributed to all of their discography, especially at the beginning of their career.

KOMCA credits remixes too.
The OP chart counts all the songs and remixes credited w/ the idol's KOMCA ID
Vernon has lyricist credits for Bumaye Remix by Drunken Tiger feat Bizzy and Vernon .

KOMCA Credits

Spoiler

RonbPBw.png

So Seventeen should have some KOMCA credits for their other remixes like the Midsummer Night's Dream Sunshine Remix, the Lotto Remix, and the 17 Remix*.
but idk why they still don't have it.

I realized... Pledis is very slow when it comes to things like this... They do it to refrain from paying copyright fees and its very very annoying. Like they are annoyingly slow at many things, but probably most disturbing one for svt is this
