[DEBUT] GHOST9 - Think of Dawn

It’s pretty solid! Wasn’t anything different but thankfully it didn’t disappoint me like how Cravity’s debut song did. The part before the chorus is my favorite and the vocals are pretty darn good too. My most favorite 2020 debut so far...

Was about just to comment this. It's a generic dark/bad boy concept too but at least it doesn't SOUND generic like Cravity or TOO's debut songs. It's more focused on the vocals and has something more unique/catchy in general. Some people said it reminded them to early 10s kpop, like BAP, VIXX or ZE:A songs and I totally agree.

I'm also surprised they charted in Bugs. I didn't expect a group from such a small company to chart anywhere lol.

Not sure about the VIXX vibes but I totally get the ZE:A vibes with this one! I’m also surprised their debut looks soooo expensive considering Teen Teen’s minimal success..

Bitch... I also wasn’t expecting anything too great especially because of the concept images looked a lot like other boy groups, but it absolutely blew my expectations. You have no idea how happy I am that they went for a singing chorus. See what happens when choruses have actual singing? They’re beautiful, imo.

I wonder if they’re going to open a “Ghost9_Members” account anytime soon? They really need fan interaction and so far, I haven’t seen any. Nor do I see any selfies, and usually groups post some after their debut. It’s gonna be a messy and overwhelming if they stick to just one account, unless they plan on using the GLEEZ account for that?

Teen Teen was actually decently successful for a subunit, they charted on melon top 1000 and sold +15k copies so considering that even decently popular groups from bigger companies like Golcha or ONF were selling only 10-20k not long ago, I wouldn't call their success minimal. But yeah, Ghost9's debut exceeded my expectations. They're at nearly 400k views already and charted in Bugs.

I think their concept was really original with the whole campy horror short film and the animations series, plus they're such a visual group so that pulled a lot of people into them.

I agree. Member accounts are super important for interactions with fans, in fact Enhypen or Treasure's member accounts have more followers than their general accounts. I guess they plan to do it in the Gleez account because I don't think it was created only to post the animation short films.
