In normal circumstances I would only have to wait max. 1 - 1.5 months. They reduced telephone booking hours to just 2-3 hours in a day, yesterday I was on the line for 55 minutes and was "2nd in line" for 40 of those minutes. And that's just a stupid eye doctor, imagine if you had a serious condition and they would tell "oh come in 5 months". I feel so sorry for poeple with real illnesses, it must be even more difficult beacuse of this. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For my toothache my local public clinic told me to go to private doctor for extraction/others. They only gave me painkillers. My dad's 3-monthly check in to public cardiologist is fine. I didn't get any major appointments lately but my mom had to go to the doctor twice and the dentist once, they all got her an appointment within the week.
