hynapia 3,977
This is so high budget and futuristic. It looks like a high brand mobile commercial. The 2 new members are really good looking. 3 hours ago, Iljin Oppa said: lmao as if NCT didn't sell 1M of albums by themselves or didn't make money with tours and concerts. Like yes, RV is super successful but NCT doesn't need their money at all.

They also make terrible profits: NCT127 NEO CITY TOUR (9 cities/10 shows) City National Civic, San Jose: 5,812 (100%) (2 shows) Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles: 6,534 (96%) Rosemont Theatre, Rosemont: 4,199 (100%) Smart Centre, Sugar Land: 6,294 (100%) Prudential Center, Newark: 5,622 (100%) Coca-Cola Roxy, Atlanta: 3,197 (100%) Watsco Center, Miami: 5,206 (100%) The Theater, Sugar Land: 6,066 (100%) Comerica Theater, Phoenix: 4,725 (100%) Total gross: $6,791,395 Average gross: $679,139 Total attendance: 47,655 Average attendance/concert: 04,766 vs RED VELVET REDMARE TOUR (5 cities/6 shows) Civic Auditorium, Pasadena: 5,986 (100%) (2 shows) The Theatre, Dallas: 3,509 (96%) NJPAC, Newark: 2,780 (100%) The Filmore, Miami: 2,148 (100%) Chicago Theatre, Chicago: 3,453 (100%) Total gross: $2,594,120 Average gross: $432,353 Total attendance: 17,876 Average attendance/concert: 02,979명 Anyways, I obviously don't actually think NCT isn't turning a profit but SM's been investing more in this stupid NCT48 system for way longer than they have had to with any of their other groups for them to do well. And I'm mainly talking about 127 and these NCT *Year* projects. fyi I stan NCT Dream who probably make more net profits than the other NCT groups. According to that NCT had both more total and more average gross than RV, also 100% of attendance in majority of the shows tho? I don't get your point. They also have big physical sales and precisely 127 is the subunit that has sold nearly 1M with a single album and the only that had a breakout song still charting in the 500s of melon after 6 months, so comparatively they're doing better than Dream. Just say you're bitter about them and go, but they are doing fairly well by themselves to need anyone's money.

LMAO 127 hit nearly 1 million with a full album with three versions whereas Dream sold almost as much with a mini with just 2 versions. Plus SM is obviously pushing stores to order 127 albums more since Dream actually sold more than them on Hanteo: Plus Dream sold just as much with their Japanese album (no original singles and no Japanese versions of their songs) as 127 with their Japanese full album and mini despite 127 actually having original Japanese songs and Japanese versions of their songs. If you want to talk about digital charting, Reload is literally the only NCT song to hit #1 on Melon real time. Weren't you the one who made such a huge deal about the Melon real time chart lmao. Mini albums and full albums don't really make that much difference tho. If a group has a solid fandom it's gonna sell well regardless if it's a mini or a full. Dream could release a full album with 3 versions too and it's not guaranteed that they'll reach the same numbers so that doesn't prove anything. Also hitting #1 in real time =/= longevity. Ridin is out of the top 1000 on melon while Kick it is still charting top 500. Both units are doing well, and my original point anyway was that NCT doesn't need to "waste" RV money because they make enough by their own.
