canis lupus 851 Posted September 21, 2020 Share Posted September 21, 2020 the song reminds me a lot of an SM production... from the song structure and the weird chord progression and harmonies... the vibe is somewhere along EXO Tempo, and I wouldn't be surprised if some people from SM worked on this song! I felt like the tempo fluctuated way too much and the chords were all over the place. Like, the jazzy piano parts didn't really blend well with the generic dark boy group melody/instrumentals. And the song is much better &than I expected. It reminds me to many EXO songs with the R&B sensual vibe and focusing on the vocals instead of the typical noisepop. The mv and dance really upped up - like I can see the RTK Impact in it. Someone said the song reminds them of exo Tempo and I see it tbh, I had the same impression to. I really like those kind of chords in kpop songs I think it makes it very intricate. It's not really super dark, but mysterious instead.
