Why ENHYPEN is actually a decent name...?

Like many people I too was lowkey confused by the name 😅... however it's been almost 24 hours since the name reveal, and now I'm starting to get it.

1. Examples of words using the 'en' prefix enlighten , enrage, entrance, envision, engrave, enable, enamour, encourage, enlist

“To cause (a person or thing) to be in”

so EN - HYPEN is basically "to hype"

2. The official short form of the name is EN-

other unofficial short forms, enhype or hypen or hype

3. HYPEN is similar "hyphen"  (-)

The (-) character can be used on so any words when the group release content.

e.g. news about the members become "-news", vlogs becomes "-vlogs" etc. etc.  so much potential.

4. A "hyphen" in general is used to connect. Which connecting seems to be part of the motto for the group.

“Similar to the ‘hyphen’ that connects one word to another, ENHYPEN means that seven different boys connect to discover one another and grow together,” says the official press announcement. “They also have an ambitious plan to connect people and the world through their music.”

5. Basically potentially created a [slang] word of their own that could actually be used in conversations.

(they enhypened, enhypens...)

Still going to take some time to get use to, but at least i'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel 😳
