Their Peak Ranking was at #1 during the 2nd week of Aug with a rating of 5.7% proven again the show was very popular online in korea~! What will the actual MV and concept photos look like...hmmm I don't know. I only got into their performances after the winners were announced but I loved Flicker. That would be too mature though (though Jungwon pulled it off surprisingly well). As far as music style and concept, they have international fans to appeal to more than most groups since they helped form the group. The may mean their sound may cater to that (RIP my dreams of having a Gfriend-sounding boy group ). However I think, given that they are from big hit and a 7 member group, they don’t want to be too close to BTS’s sound or concept. Anyway I guess we’ll find out soon. BTS debut sound? Lol yea I doubt anyone in Bighit will ever start with that type of concept again. At least not so hardcore >< lol. BTS themselves have talked about it being lowkey embarrassing haha BTS sound nowadays is pretty open. They do whatever they feel fits the mood of their albums most. (Cute, dramatic, retro, dance, or more.) The area I can see Bighit maybe throwing in some cuteness is in their concept photos since concept photos can be a mix of different concepts sometimes. Therefor 3rd gen we begin to see a rise of more self producing rappers even more for boy groups. (e.g. BTS rapline) And now majority of idol rappers write their own stuff for boy groups. (Many girl group rappers are still how they were back in the days tho...) If it's done well a rap part can add great dynamics and "flavor" to a song, depending on the overall concept. There's something quite powerful when a rap part is done right in a song. Rapping also have a way of getting a audience hyped. It's not just Kpop but often time even American pop songs will have a featured rapper or a remix version with one. However I agree not every song needs a rap part. Regarding Enhypen, eventhough i'm saying that i'm pretty sure there will be a least one member in charge of rap parts. With Niki it will depend if Belift think he's fit for rapping. Pronunciation is important in rapping no matter if a rapper is a real or not. They don't care much about English, but the Korean, yes. EN- have about a month or more to test, practice and prepare for their debut. Niki did fine with singing. I feel they could give him a vocalist/sub vocalist type position. However his Japanese will come in handy for rap parts for JPN promotions. So I can see him being both a vocalist and rapper. But not the main or lead. He will most likely be a main or lead dancer tho. Currently I don't remember if anyone showed an interest. I can see Jay, Jake or even Sunghoon doing more of the rapping.
