Do you think it's rude to get a message from someone but don't reply, yet you're online since you're updating your status? Are they being rude?

I think she is still undecided, that's why she hasn't answered with clear yes or no. Or it's a "no" but she doesn't want to hurt you explicitly.

The way she texted you again without answering your question would piss me off too if I'm in your position. I'm also overthinker so it makes us two.

 

Edit : if the question isn't urgent and important, that's different. But this is, no?
