SHINee's Taemin told fans his agency SM Entertainment ruined his comeback.

Taemin is set to make a solo comeback with his full album 'Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1' on September 7 KST, but it looks like his comeback isn't going according to plan. On September 4, the SHINee member posted a message on the 'Dear.U Bubble' platform, stating that a preview of his upcoming song was revealed without prior notice on his reality series 'Rare Taem'.

He wrote, "I don't know why the 'Criminal' song was released on 'Rare Taem', but... it's not a bright song... Why was it used like this? My plans have collapsed. I'm so upset. It's the kind of song that shouldn't have given a first impression like this. It's really so depressing. Really."

As 'Rare Taem' has a cheerful concept, it seems Taemin felt it wasn't appropriate to use the track "Criminal", which has a darker tone. Fans are now complaining to the label on Taemin's behalf, asking SM Entertainment to edit the reality show episode.

Ugh ;-; that's why it's always a shame to not give artists their own artistic power. Taemin seems to plan something else that is more fitting for the song, but I guess SM wanted fans to have some type of preview without asking Taemin. Its a staff problem tbh, so I'm interested on how they will solve it, or whether they will solve it at all.

Poor Taem, SM doesn't give two dongs about their artists~ Taemin has been working super hard on this one and SM knows that he puts a lot of effort into his concepts, for SM to go out of their way to do that is a real dick move~

Fuck SM seriously, Taemin is already stressed about having to postpone the comeback which was supposed to be much sooner. Now they are messing up with releasing the song preview and they are not doing it properly. Why the fuck it's so hard for them to not combine a clearly dark concept with the light hearted show? 

It hurts to see him so upset because he was upset already at his injury and now the work he has put into the comeback so far is being mismanaged that can affect the first impressions. I think fans will enjoy it regardless but it should not have gone this way and he is already so hard on himself...

SM's promotion for him has been such a mess. I feel bad for him because he's over here trying to promote Super M and his album at the same time. Not only has his comeback been pushed back but now this.

Hopefully he's seeing words of support and it goes up from here. It has to be frustrating to put so much work into his comeback and not have it go as he visioned it.
