Honestly if I was the company I would just let them leave. Why work hard for a group that don't want it?...

This is so wrong I don't know where to begin, you know you have been stanning K-pop for too long if you think not paying your employees for their work is acceptable. The group is company's investment, if the company has no money to invest then they shouldn't have created a group, simple as that. Secondly if the company has no work for their members to give and members are available to work, then the company should laid them off (just like they wish) with paying damages/severance pay to members.

Sans big 3, the entire kpop payment system is rotten with trainee debt system in particular. If I want to open a shop it's my investment and training of my employees would be my cost as well; not theirs. If I had no work for them caused by covid or whatever then I need to lay my employees off and pay them severance.
