bye-bye

BTS ‘Dynamite’ Line Distribution

Jungkook 73.5 seconds
Jimin 40.3 seconds
V 30.2 seconds
Jin 26.8 seconds
RM 22.8 seconds
Suga 9.3 seconds
J-Hope 8.6 seconds

original post: theqoo

1. This is Jungkook’s solo song? Why does he have so many parts?

2. If the difference is 10 times, the difference seems a lot

3. I think the BTS members don’t care about this, they always try to make the best song. Why are fans complaining about this?

4. I don’t blame Jungkook, but it’s disgusting to see Big Hit clearly just pushing Jungkook

5. No matter what, all 7 BTS members are still good friends..

6. I feel bad for Suga, J-Hope and their fans

7. Honestly, the group name is ‘Jungkook and Hyungnim’

8. Dynamite is a good song, stop talking about things like this and just support BTS

9. Damn, damn, damn, what the hell is 8 seconds?

10. But is this video correct? What the hell are you guys doing?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ You guys are pathetic

this

the whole distribution crying fest is getting stale.

some people seriously need to get it over it because the members are doing just fine.

If suga and j hope (chicken noodle soup) didn't have their solo songs and time to shine alone, i would understand the frustration at them not getting many of lines.

I think from a company point of view its fair to give the others more lines due to suga n jhope individual promo?

This order actually highlight their positions in the group since debut. Jungkook the main vocalist, Jimin the lead, and Tae and Jin vocalist. This song is also vocal heavy. Literally could of just been a vocal line song. Of course, rap line isn't going to have many parts their not vocalist. RM is a main rapper and leader of BTS. Plus RM and Jungkook are better with English. There's also a bunch of layering in this song. And like any BTS song the live distribution will probably be a bit different then the audio.

Anyways I doubt majority of the fandom is complaining. For the last 24 hours the fandom have been focused on breaking records~! ☕

Post like these are just an exaggeration, in my opinion. We're 7 years in BTS careers, I mean it's time for some people to move on.

Didn't they say before that they played a part in this whole line distributions process? At this point in their careers I doubt that BH producers are the only one deciding on this. They're just doing what they think sound the best.

Anyways, the live versions often have different line distributions (e.g spring days, blackswan,..) so those who are disappointed should at least wait until then!

Honestly I don't mind. In a song with barely any rap it sounds normal that rappers don't get much lines.

But it's kinda tragic that Hobi's visuals are top tier this era but not much screentime to shine 😭

Jin too who is the visual of the group but doesn't have solo shots.

The song is much more focused on the vocals that in the rap so it's normal that the vocal line gets more parts, especially JK that's literally the main vocalist. Also, like other people said J-Hope and Suga even had their own solos while Jungkook doesn't even have an intro solo song. I get that 8-10 second is very little but again, it's mostly a vocal focused song and I don't think the members have a problem with it.

Well for line distribution the main vocal will rightfully have the most lines. While having an equal line distribution sounds nice, I don't really think is the "right" things to do, especially in >5 members group. But I do wish that every members at least sing more than 10 seconds.

For the MV I do want to see more from the raplines and also Jin solo set. Oh well hoping that we get that in the B side Mv

Adding on: BTS have talked about how they produce their songs quite a few times too. One example:

But I guess some people just like being upset about everything. Honestly if one is always upset about what a group do, then perhaps it's time to unstan? js.There are so many other Kpop groups out there to follow~ ❤️

Jungkook is not my bias but I'm glad he got a lot of line distribution in the song, I think when it comes to English lyrics, his pronunciation is by far the best and I'm pretty sure that the BTS members are more than okay with this, pick another struggle y'all lol.
