CIX are one of my favorite groups at the moment, so it sucks that it's going to be almost a year since they last came back by the time that it's October and they couldn't build off the hype off of Numb much... with their fan meeting cancelled earlier in February to the delay of the June comeback. But I have hope! It is a great thing to wait for Jinyoung to recover fully and I just hope too many fans haven't left yet. A little bit of me is disappointed, but Jungle sounds a lot like an autumn song anyways. It sounds sexy and suave, so maybe the timing is perfect! I know a lot of fans including myself have been saving up like crazy, so it's not too bad.

I was just commenting this with a friend and she said they probably delayed it so much because the group is heavily focused on Jinyoung, because lbr, when a member from any group is injured they usually sit that member down while the others dance, but in this case they need Jinyoung to be in the center because the group is basically created around him. But well, I personally prefer to have OT5 on the stage again than only 4 and Jinyoung sitting down.

The problem is that it's gonna practically a full year since their last comback when they comeback again and a lot of their hype has died down already so I'm worried about the results but we'll see. They had so much potential when they debuted with Movie Star so I hope they can get some attention again.

Honestly, that's what I'm worried about too. Especially since we really don't know how financially well-off C9 is since their only successful act is Younha, and to some degrees, Juniel, but her success mostly came from when she was in FNC. The comeback timing in June would've been really good too. With even bigger hype from anime fans with their ending song for God of High School. It's unfortunate, but the boys have been giving us a lot of content whether it's vlives or song covers, so I think the hype will build up again once the roll out of teasers resume. Everyone seemed to have garnered a lot of fans individually and as a group (thank you tiktok and their viral moments), so I think CIX is slowly shedding off the image as being seen only as a Jinyoung-centered group!

Yeah, hopefully they start focusing in the other members too. They have Seunghun that's a great vocalist, BX that's a great rapper and Hyunsuk/Yonghee are very talented and visuals too. They all deserve equal focus instead of being centered around Jinyoung because that's precisely what's throwing some people off from stanning the group. Nobody wants another Gugudan situation where the group is only centered around the produce members.
