1. To be honest, before learning Miss A's faces, I saw Fei and I thought that she would definitely be the one that JYP pushes the most, since her singing, visuals and dancing all stood out the most... To be honest I looked at Fei more than Suzy ㅠㅠ

2. Fei is seriously pretty, I only looked at her during Hush.. 

3. Me too Fei attracted my attention more than Suzy when they debutedㅋㅋㅋ

4. I liked Fei, I think she's the type to gain good responses from non-fans or muggles? I feel like so many people liked her but she didn't really have a lot of hype ㅋㅋㅋ

5. The best visuals? Hmm that's just OP's opinion....... Even when she used to be pushed a lot, she was still buried... So maybe it's her charms? There's nothing about her that drags you in. She was indeed the one who stood out the most for me at first but slowly... I used to think that she was s good dancer, but when she was in China I was wondering if she was the same person I knew

6. Fei is totally luxurious and sexy, but she's always mentioned alongside with Suzy so she's getting buried even moreㅋㅋ

7. She's indeed pretty, but as a celebrity her charms were a bit of a disappointment... If you look at Twice or Fx, even if they have Tzuyu and Sulli, the other visual members aren't less popular either

8. When I saw Miss A in person, I couldn't look at anyone but Fei... She's f*cking pretty 

9. If only she was Korean she would've been the two tops with Suzy. She looks like Kim Ah Joong

all of them were pretty, but when 'miss a' debuted, i noticed fei visuals more than any of them.

it wasn't till later as suzy started to rise with knetz/kfans that i begin to recognize her as a top visual.

now being influenced for so many years, i tend to think of suzy as the top visual in 'miss a'

Ok but last and only time she was “pushed” was during their debut where she got the bridge part of BGGG? She had buzz on 2013 but it wasn’t because they “pushed” her, she joined competitions and gained attention because of her skills- unlike Suzy who was deliberately given 99% of lines during Only You

Everyone in miss A were quite marketed equally at first, but when Suzy hit big due to Archi101 JYP suddenly stopped caring about all the other members. Fei was the worst in miss A in variety but it doesn’t mean variety was the only thing she can be marketed at, by which Min was really good but JYP stopped sending her to variety shows. She was arguably the member in charge of vocals during their debut era but somehow JYP never really took the chance to promote her singing skills until her first OST in 2014.

 

I don’t even have anything against Suzy, I love her, she’s my original bias in miss A but we can’t deny that the reason behind miss A’s downfall was because JYP and the public started to ignore everyone except her since she had her big break (which isn’t her fault at all). And these stupid pigeon brained knetz have the audacity to tell she doesn’t have charms- she has them you all just ignored on purpose or wasn’t able to see because JYP ignored her. Heck if she doesn’t have charms why would I and thousands of Feithfuls be her fans.

I rewatched some Miss A MVs recently, replayed BGGG quite a few times, and as always with it as with the 1st time I watched it: everybody grab my attention except for Suzy. Fei in particular, shines a lot in BGGG, and Min shines a lot in Breathe. This isn't a dig at Suzy, I think she can have a lot of appeal as an actress, but as a performer, I felt she was always outshined by her three groupmates. Sadly the story unfolded differently. Fei in particular is such a stunning visual indeed. A different kind to Suzy's "pure & perfect" visuals, Fei instead has very "womanly" visuals. She deserved better for sure, they all did.

I always felt a bit similar, at least in their earlier periods. Suzy is wonderful and I adore her. But during those first few promo periods, I felt like she didn't have the same confidence/experience/presence that the other 3 had due to their numerous years of training. Though, I think Suzy's presence and confidence certainly improved over time.

 

 

As for Fei, I've always found her gorgeous and felt like she was pretty well rounded package in terms of visuals and talents. But yeah,  JYPE's incompetence when it came to the group, she didn't really get much of a chance to shine except for that brief period before her solo release.

yeah suzy got the spotlight during Only You but that was in 2015. she got big in 2011 and was still being treated like the other members in regards to line distribution, she wasn't pushed in any of the following comebacks until 2015

fei dig her own grave after gaining positive attention with her reality shows and then posting about the one-china thing. that's why her solo wasn't supported despite trending in multiple shows

Jia also had a negative image during the last years of the group (the shading victoria thing for example). ofc being chinese contributed to their situation, but we have cases like Victoria that despite being chinese was one of the most loved idols in Korea. Even Cheng Xiao got big after all the controversies surrounding chinese idols  

and min's comments about feminism and racism was also off-putting for a lot of ifans, me included. 

You just can't blame jyp and "being foreigner" for their lack of appeal/support, when there are many cases of them doing things that had negative impact on their careers

Starship significantly pushed Cheng Xiao after ISAC, she got big with My Little Television, and was everywhere on variety shows (LOTJ, that ballet show, that show with Song Jihyo, etc). What did JYP do for Fei for her to hold at least a tea candle against these two Chinese icons? Invite her to Happy Together as Suzy’s lackey and interviewed a Suzy solo fan?

nobody is denying their talents or merits, but anyone can tell you that as idols based in korea, they just didn't had "it", especially because they were far of the kind of image/personality that the public and fandom looks for in idols. they would have done better as artists or just debuting in China

ofc isn't like they didn't have an ounce of appeal, jype was in fault too because 1. they didn't give miss A a reality show during their debut years, which is fundamental for any idol group, 2. the language barriers complicated how much they talked/showed their personalities during the few times they were on tv and 3. jype again never bothered to promote "miss a bond" or sell them as a cohesive group

my main issue was with the user implying only jype "pushing" suzy  or "koreans hating chinese idols" was to blame for their lack of success, when isn't as simple as that.
