Before joining Starship, which is her current company, she was in Media Line Entertainment with Exy
Including the years she's been training under Media Line and Starship, she would've spent 10 years as a trainee, she spent more years as a trainee than her sunbae Sistar
She appeared in a Pepero ad before debuting and she also appeared in Boyfriend, Mad Clown and Jung Gigo's MVs
She debuted in WSJN as Sistar's dongsaeng group and Monsta X's hoobaes

Ex-Pristin Park Siyeon (8 years and 2 months)

She spent more than 8 years training intensely in Pledis, she was nicknamed Pledis' princess and Queen Siyeon
She started training in her 3rd grade, so she spent half her life training.
Before debuting, she appeared as a child actor in Nu'est, AfterSchool, Orange Caramel, etc.'s MVs
In 2016, she appeared in Produce 101 but she was unfortunately eliminated at 25th and couldn't debut in IOI
she waited one year and debuted in Pristin in 201u as a main rapper

In 2008, she started training at 13 years old and trained for 8 years
She's the 2nd member in the group who's spent the longest time training, but she's the one who spent the longest time in Pledis
Before debuting, from November 2015 to January 2016, she was in a web drama called High-End Crush 
In 2016, she debuted in WJSN as the main vocal

(G)I-dle Miyeon (8 years)

Her previous company was YG and she was a YG trainee
When she was 14, she trained in YG for 5 years
She was included in the debut team for Blackpink when they were named Pink Punk and was planned to debut in the team, but her debut got cancelled and she left the company (so that's why she's close with the Blackpink members)
Afterwards, she went to a vocal + composing academy for 2 years and then went to her current company Cube and trained for about 1 year and debuted. She debuted in 2019 with (G)I-dle as the main vocal

All these idols who trained for such a long time for an uncertain future and who held it in in order to have a successful debut are all impressive.

2. [+101, -22] Wow seeing Miyeon like that, she really seems to have the type of voice+face that YG likes.... It's extremely regrettable that she couldn't debut with Blackpink but she suits being in (G)I-dle

There was also a time where everyone was out and there was only her and Irene left. She had vocal cord nodules and couldn't even pronounce a 2-syllables word like "unnie", so at that time, she clung unto her dancing and became the main dancer + lead vocal.... You can see how she mastered the basics of being an idol which makes me respect her

Some of these idols give their childhood to these companies. Now imagine all those unknowns who did as well, but never made it.

I feel so awful for the Pristin girls, Pledis really took so many of their years and in turn delivered them nothing. I hope they can find success in life.

Min was such an all-around idol too. Tragic the way Miss A ended.
