I never followed Miss A or Wonder Girls so I haven't read their lyrics, just listened to their songs casually, but didn't he compose Like ohh ahh or Cheer Up? I thought he wrote LOA and Cheer Up, which are good songs, but I just didn't like the lyrics in general. Signal's lyrics are okay, but Feel Special and What is Love are pretty good tbh. I think that's weird in a way because people have relationships whether it's about being in love or platonic but relationships play a big part in people lives. It's fresh compared to every concept we had from BIG3. And yes, love songs will attract male fans. Since love songs are basically "love confession" to their fans (from some fans' point of view). Every genre of music has love songs no matter what.
