Do you know what subsidiary labels are under these top companies?

SM Entertainment
YG Entertainment
JYP Entertainment
BIGHIT Entertainment
CJ E&M
KAKAO M

Did you know that some of your favorite K-pop labels are a subsidiary under a bigger company? Let's take a look at the subsidiaries of some big companies:

(Only musicians are added to the list. Other artists such as actors, comedians, models etc. are not included.)

I forgot that J.Tune was a subsidary of JYP. It's a shame the way things turned out with J.Tune, MBLAQ deserved better 😭

mblaq was great group. but sadly rain wasn't ready to run a group

and then he pushed them off to jype when he couldn't handle it - who offered to help but also was trying to recover from financial issue of it's own

Woollim is still under SM? I thought they weren't associated with SM anymore.

Also, I agree that the graphic is not updated because includes a load of artists that aren't under those companies anymore or have disbanded (History, Fiestar, Wanna One, Pristin, etc). Big Hit also has Belift now so it should be included.

Btw, isn't TOO actually under nCH? I read that Stone Music manages their promotions but their company is nCH (same company than Nature).

And JBJ lol. I didn't even know they were under PlayM.

But they even put Wanna One or Pristin so they just list every group that has been under those sublabels regardless if they're disbanded or not.

This

Maybe they didn't put Belift since there isn't any group officially under it yet.

Seems they put co managed groups too.

e.g. Izone is no longer under OTR, but they're listed for OTR and Swing

This must be a super old graphic because woollim has cut ties with sm already

edit: sm have mystic, million market (coogie) and AIKM (Giant pink, she even did a duet with yeri iirc)
