In some ways yes, in some ways no. I have some non European facial features, with a hooked Punjabi nose, and hard to tame thick hair. I am also out of shape currently. These go against me everywhere lol. I'm tall which is great in normal circles but among my own society, I'm a gigantic mammoth who shouldn't even dare wear heels. In colourist circles, it's great that I'm lighter skinned but that's icky. Oh I understand this very well, I'm from Asia as well and those girls with European features like colored eyes or button nose or light skin always used to get attention.
