TV viewers complain about the oversaturation of trot these days

1. [+163, -7] TV's no fun to watch these days, and I'm sure it's doubly so for the younger generation. All the fun stuff is in the cellphones, after all... I think that's why trot is booming right now, because TV shows are trying to cater to the older audience. The TV channels are all going to flop if they keep this up~

True. it wasn't long ago the trend was hip hop lol

Yea nowadays younger generation is streaming more online. Ratings are low all over the world. So i guess it make sense some Korean tv channels are trying to entertain and target the age group that's still watching tv...

I'm always seeing these comments even though I don't see much of it because it's all on korean cable. I guess ifans are really isolated from trot right now but it really is huge atm.

but don't they all have youtube and other online media platforms available for them? kpop is everywhere and every other music genre is buried under it and yet you have these kids complaining lol
