Title tracks from SM Ent. idols that were influenced by Lee Sooman

1. SHINee's Sherlock

They had 100 candidates of title tracks Out of those tracks, Lee Sooman chose Clue and Note and combined them into one song.That's how Sherlock was produced*For your information, Clue and Note were included as the side-tracks in the same album.

2. Red Velvet's Red Flavor

Red Flavor is the song that Lee Sooman put a lot of effort in .Joy said, 'We greeted him at the company's dinner and he said, 'You don't know how much I'm working on you, right?'. We felt really apologetic since we had no idea. Later, we asked our manager and he told us that Lee Sooman has been working on the lyrics, melody line, rhythm, even the choreography of this song.

3. EXO's Call Me Baby

The title track for EXO's 2nd album was supposed to be EXODUS, not Call Me Baby(It's included as one of the side-tracks in the same album)They already decided for EXODUS to be their title track, even spent millions to film the teasers overseas.

But Lee Sooman told them to change the title track to Call Me Baby.

the order of the release of Wolf and Growl was also rearranged Growl was supposed to be the title track of their 1st album And Wolf was supposed to be the title track of their repackaged album.

4. F(x)'s Pinocchio

Pinocchio (The original title was Laser) originally had a normal (?) and average lyrics F(x) had even finished recording the whole song .But Lee Sooman listened to it and said, 'F(x) supposed to be special, right?' and changed their image into quirky and odd girls .

The lyrics, mood of the song, even the choreography gone through rearrangement and becomes the Pinocchio we all know now.

5. BoA's Only One

The title track for her 7th album was supposed to be Shadow .

On the last second, Lee Sooman asked BoA to have Only One, that she produced and composed on her own, as the title track BoA felt very delightful, but also burdensome at the same time to hear that.

6. Taemin's Move

Lee Sooman recommended Taemin to have Love as the title track, instead of Move .But Taemin chose Move to be his title track and Lee Sooman went along with it, saying that Taemin should be doing anything he wants

I mean, one can be genius in the industry, and still problematic too...

Nonetheless yes he's a MAJOR part of Kpop industry, for years now.

But this will make a lot sense on overseas teasers and ended up with box mv.

So what is not that good but I think the focus was making a song that makes Loona "cool", like the dance of that song is really great. As for NCT is pure bad manage, the concept of NCT is really cool, but if they sticked to AKB48 system were they have groups by location and collab with each other it wouldn't be that big of mess.

i always knew he was a talented producer, but ever since i heard that he helped compose/produce/conceptualize red flavor, i was 100% sold. even if all he ever did was red flavor, that alone makes him a genius imo
