Article: Ridiculing mask wearers with open masks... 'anti mask' protest in London

Source: Joongang Ilbo via Nate

1. [+902, -10] Just put all the people who refuse to wear a mask together and refuse to give them vaccines or treatments

2. [+898, -15] There's a reason so many of them died to the Black Death

3. [+803, -14] Just look at that intelligence level. They're on par with a primitive man. The ignorant are always the bravest.

4. [+28, -2] What the virus has taught us is that none of the developed countries are actually as developed as we thought... especially the US!

5. [+27, -1] Remember when Lee Kyung Kyu said the scariest people are the ignorant with faith? He was right...

6. [+23, -0] But I bet once they catch the virus, they'll throw a fit in the hospitals demanding treatment ㅋㅋ

7. [+18, -1] So foolish

8. [+18, -3] The virus is showing the true colors of barbarism in developed countries

9. [+17, -0] This is so barbaric ㅠㅠ

10. [+16, -1] Mentally sick

11. [+12, -0] Nevermind that they have sh*t for brains, it's clear that they don't even feel embarrassment either. How can they not see how embarrassing they look with their masks ripped up like that?

12. [+10, -1] These people are so entrenched in their white superiority that they probably think that white people are above catching the virus... crazies like them deserve to die.

Well at least it’s not just people in the U.S. I don’t know how many people are like this but the sad thing is that it only takes a small handful of folks like this to ruin it for everyone. There is no humility or reasoning with these kinds of folks. You try explaining to them why masks work and they just call you a sheep.

such selfish and ignorant people. it really is depressing to see that people like this exist in developed countries. you have access to everything you need to be educated and mindful of others, yet this is how you turn out.

Given how mask wearing is commonplace in South Korea, along with much of the rest of East (plus Southeast) Asia even before the COVID-19 pandemic, I wondered how would the K-Netizens react to the anti-mask movements in the west.  I am not disappointed with what I saw.  For me, it was a trip to Japan in 2014 that normalised the idea of wearing a mask in public, which wasn't normal pre-pandemic where I live (California, USA)

God, these anti-mask folks are idiots. what those fools have in common is they are basically conspiracy theorists, mixed with antivaxxers, and the 5g gives you cancer fools. In america they also are the stupid q-anon idiots, i didn't know this bullshit made it across the ocean to the UK tho.
