Has anyone heard that there is a taiwanese remake of You're Beautiful (kor drama) airing? It's with Jiro wang

Two episodes have aired so far (one was today, yesterday for taiwan) so I'm gonna check it out (when i find it subbed) ~

Never heard of the actress -Cheng Yu Xi- and she hasn't made any major acting project anywway. But Jiro playing the bad boy is a win anyway

Story doesn't interest me so i've never watched the J or K version, not that i like rewatching different versions of dramas anyway.

I liked the K, kinda. But since I dislike JGS and Park shinhye's acting it annoyed me at times. Gonna watch J's soon because i've seen kojiharu was in it \O/

idk how you do it. I was gonna watch the TW version of Hana Kimi just because of Ella but stopped after the first ep. I just think to my self why would i watch the same thing when i could watch something new. Though i'm curious if the current J remake of Itazura na Kiss (ISWAK) is any good.

 

That's weird it says all 3 Dream Girls are on the casting for 1 ep playing themselves, maybe it's not a mistake. I see they have Koda Kumi doing the celebrity part for the J version haha.

It's fun seeing the differences and what each actor can bring to the story

it's almost finished. Ep 18 came out this week i think and there's a total of 20. I just finished watching ep 8 just a few minutes ago. Kinda reminds me of 49 Days in how she's supposed to be somebody else but is interacting with her friends and family and she can't tell them.

yea i was expecting it to be a romcom but it's not that much comedy in it. There's light parts but i wouldn't call it a romcom but not a full on melodrama either.

 

Dream Girls for the op and S.H.E for the ed is nice though.

I mean it was good but nothing amazing to me. I was probably going to skip the sequel until Donnie Yen took up the role. Same thing for Hero too. Great visuals, interesting story, meh movie. Though Hero has an amazing cast

 

IDK maybe i should rewatch them now that i'm older and maybe i'll like them more.

Tbh, I never liked the movie. .___. I couldn't get all the hype that surrounded it. I tried, but I couldn't. 

Though I definitely will check the sequel out, Donnie Yen in the sequel has me sold.

I remember hearing the mainland Chinese didn't really like the film much with criticism directed at Michelle Yeoh's Mandarin speaking accent. I liked Chang Chen, Chow Yun Fat and Michelle Yeoh. Zhang ZiYi got way over-hyped after the film.

 

I liked Hero at the time for the visuals and the different perspectives, not sure how I'd feel about it today though. Indeed it had an awesome cast. Tony-Maggie collabs are a pretty solid bet.

 

Donnie in the sequel should be interesting, at the very least it pretty much guarantees some great fight scenes.

that's how i feel. It's loved by either the west or people that don't watch a lot of chinese movies. I don't remember ZZ's acting in Crouching Tiger but she has proven her acting ability to me already.

That Coco Lee song could have been good if not for the terrible and repetitive chorus. I thought i was listening to an Elva song for a bit there.
