Out of the ones nominated for best album, i listened to half of them i think. Not really interested in mayday, guo ding, xu jun. Didilong's album is nominated for best taiwanese album and i listened to that also. Not sure if it's your style but i think it's worth checking out Yeah I'm going to be listening my way through that list over the next few months so I will get round to that album. I don't mind the different languages. No wonder you run out of music to listen to if you avoid male artists lol. Have you listened to Fire Ex's album? I think you'll like that more than mayday I don't avoid them necessarily. I've listened to a song or two from all those male artists on the list. I just didn't care enough to listen to their albums haha. I listened to a few Fire Ex. songs before but not the album. And i don't know if she is known for her looks or not but Zhou Dongyu is another person i thought was kinda weird looking but now i think is cute/pretty lol. Before I understood that he had a nice face, but I didn't fawn over it until Love O2O. It took me a while to get used to Di Li Re Ba and Gu Li Na Zha. But I think that's because they're both not the typical Han beauty that I'm so used to seeing. To an extent Yang Mi as well. I kind of still feel this way with Yang mi and fbb sometimes. Liu YiFei has a very classical traditional look to her. Her soft features match really well with ancient clothing. She's a beauty you grow to admire. Kind of like a K-pop visual. She's not someone that makes a bang first impression if you see her in a photoshoot like Ni Ni. But if you watch her in Return of the Condor Heroes, you'll kind of get it. I'd put Yifei above her actually. Yifei at least i've seen look very pretty sometimes. Just not enough for me to care. Zhao Li Ying's looks are kinda average and forgettable to me. To me both of them are like you said, you grow to like them after watching a series they're in or something. Their character and personality probably has a part in it.
