The plot didnt confuse me much, i mean that the succession of events were pretty clear, but after i came out of the cinema i was a bit like O__O what did i just watch You're right, that scene was really beautiful. I could grasp the general outline of the movie, like all that 'successor' business, but after the 2nd (?) world war I was sort of lost haha. I did get Gong Er's whole revenge business though. Yeah the fight scenes in this are probably on par with Hero's in terms of cinematography (though I like the latter more due to the autumn leaves scene). Why didn't your father like it? Slow, atmospheric, attention to details, and so on. It's ok while you're watching it, but amazing after you reflect on what happened and what WKW was trying to show. Excited to watch that movie. Li BingBing was in the last Resident Evil movie too. Is she a good actress? I've seen clips of her acting and she seems mediocre, albeit stunning. I follow her photoshoots/fashion stints more. I don't remember Ady being very good at acting. I've only seen her in Autumn's Concerto and she wasn't that good in it. She could be better in her other ones though i guess. I don't know if you have seen the previous versions but for this one, like seriously, they changed the script so much that the writer literally changed whole plot of the story. With Dong Fang Bu Bai being a girl?! Although I do have to admit Joe is so gorgeous in the drama .. If only they cast her for Ren YinYin's role :\\ Ugh. Too many if's for that drama. Anyhows, you should try Strange Hero Yi Zhi Mei (http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Guai_Xia_Yi_Zhi_Mei). Jiang Hu subbed it and I love Jiang Hu's subs.
