Not just knetz tbh even here on oh people said exactly the same thing about smngg rumoured members. Its beyond me how people dont realize that literally every single idol look basic predebut aside extraordinary exceptions. Regular teenagers can't be compared to idols who have about a hundred people taking care of their  appearance; it's a stupid comparison.

Basically this. Obviously everyone is gonna look "plain" without all the idol make up and styling so idg calling them ugly simply because they don't look super dolled up yet. They look like regular people, not necessarily ugly.
