Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World I'm planning to read that book during my holiday in few days. Do you really like it that much? I've read only 2 other Murakami's books -Norwegian wood and South of the boarder....Have you read those? Irie 847 Posted July 2, 2014 Share Posted July 2, 2014 It is extremely difficult to pick a favourite considering the vast amount of good lit. out there but if I had to recommend one book to everyone it would be To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee and The Outsider/ Stranger by Albert Camus comes a close second. It's a brilliant book and it's Murakami's weird style at it's best. Half the time you're just "what the hell is happening" but then somehow it makes sense. It's difficult to explain. I can't compare because I haven't read those, but if you're familiar with his style, you know what to expect. His book are not for everyone but they're brilliant.
