Got7 is getting ate up by their 2 year old juniour group Stray Kids. Why?

After 3 months Got7's last comeback only has 45 million views meanwhile Stray Kids is at 50 million.

 

On top of that Stray Kids already has a #1 in Japan with their JPN debut meanwhile Got7 have yet to achieve one. Then Stray Kids have already passed them in Spotify streams despite Got7 having a 4 year headstart.

It's only a matter of time before they start catching up in album sales in Korea. Could it be because of Jackson's communism or Bambam's problematic past? Mark's love affair with the N word? What could it be?

Somehow, JYP thought that Stray Kids had wanted to go to an eatery, so they put GOT7 on their menu.
They then ordered using the "God's Menu" and consumed them wholly.

But in all seriousness, no one is 'eating' anyone up. They're successful, each to their own merit, so I find this comparison to be unnecessary.
Stray Kids at the moment is rising, so the attention being concentrated on them is to be expected given their steady promotions.
It would be better even still if Stray Kids could get a chance to finally chart on MelOn. But right now they're really good as they currently are.

That last description of the "love affair", though. Honestly, there's no need to be sensational about it.

They may have more youtube views, but GOT7 clearly has a bigger fandom.

It's good to see that Stray Kids are rising, but dragging other groups to praise them is just unnecessary.

actually got7 charted better with the last comeback (they debuted at top 100 unlike skz that can't even enter) and had way bigger peaks than skz there, 

there's no point comparing them

GOT7's title tracks have all charted on melon top 100 tho, even if it's in a low position. This was their most recent comeback

Stray Kids is younger and trendier so new kpop fans talk more about them but in general GOT7 is still more popular and sell/chart better. Both groups are doing fairly well tho.
