hynapia 3,977 Posted June 25, 2020 Share Posted June 25, 2020 Idk, but they definitely know how to pick pretty girls with a "girls next door" charm instead of the unreachable idol type, and they usually put a a few stan attractors in the group too (ie: the J-line and Nayeon in Twice, Yeji/Lia/Yuna in Itzy, etc). Jem's 5,056 Posted June 25, 2020 Share Posted June 25, 2020 he knows how to produce for ggs. even the song he gave to IOI was great and fitted them very well I wouldn't say he was always this good picking members/forming groups before twice tho. there is a reason why wg and miss A didn't have/keep a big fanbase and only individual members as Hyuna/Sunmi/Sohee/Suzy shine until now. There is none visual hole, not only all the members are beautiful, but each member has different kind of beauty. They got cute, sexy, charming, innocent, whatever beauty, you name it! And only twice who have this! Yes i said this, because i think only twice who have all kind of different visual. They might be lacking in singing department. But boy, theyre really great performance. As a non fans, i really enjoy their performances (sometimes more than my fav lol). He just copied a successful formula and then put a lot of money "promoting" until they got results. Any company could have made Twice, and to be honest, many did, the only difference is that all these other companies didn't have JYP's name attached to the group and his money and resource to push the groups properly. None of the twice members are particularly outstanding in any area, and that is true for a lot of the JYPE idols. They are not made to last and one of the main reasons for that is the lack of proper training, promotion and vision. There is really nothing commendable about the way JYP handle his company and groups and the fact the most kpop fans can't see that is just sad. JYPE is no different from any of the many small and shady kpop companies, just exploiting and tricking young people so that some small group of people can make a shit ton of money. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
