I was only stating the obvious. its just that certain fandom took offense....as they usually do.

for example bts: on, dna, fire, and i need u

I always was impressed by old BTS choreography like 'Danger' etc but tbh I personally prefer their latest choreos with more complicated and free structure where they're going into artistic performance to show an uniqueness of the song's vibe, my fav choreo of them this year is 'Black Swan'. In 2018 I liked 'Airplane Pt.2' the most for its atmosphere, for example.

Seventeen's synchronization is amazing though, they were compared to Infinite for reason.

the person who made the video is right, GOT7's choreos are more about impact than synchronization.

Honestly, JYP's group are more known for catch moves/choreos rather than synchronization. That's why it's amazing that Stray Kids got such a high position and GOT7 is on top10.

oh there’s thing other people here might have it confused, being synchronized doesn’t mean each idol doesn’t have their own style

as a dancer I know that

having a style is more on the isolation and the way your style of jumping from a move to another

if you look at seventeen I can tell some are better than others in that aspect ig dino th8 and hoshi are the most people who have a style to their dance hm but that doesn’t break the synch dance

Yeah, svt fits to each other at group parts only in solo parts you get to see their styles. Like dino??? He tries to show his style at every second lol he is so cute since you are dancer do you have any opinions about any member of svt? Lol yes for me in svt I like the8 style the best ig he has that aura while dancing that really grabs attention But isolation wise I do think there’s a gap between hoshi and others

Edit: I wanna add sth, what makes svt abit different to me than others that they put lots of thoughts in the dance, usually height differences would make a dance look less synchronized even if it was perfect but they seem to do it in a way that you’ll see no heights differences almost at all same for angles, camera and other things 

and my personal favorite wre Astro, I think every member is a good dancer and the way they execute their dances and moves are so in synch I enjoy watching them

tbz and partially nct are also good but the other 2 are def better

if you want to talk about older groups it’s obv infinite they were famous for this

but to be fair there’s alot of dances that doesn’t require a real synchronizing or at least part of the dance so it is just related to each group style

and btw this is from the groups I follow more so take that I don’t follow everyone

Huh o.o? You are one of the few that thinks Hoshi is a deserved main dancer. I feel like his moves has a weird strenght and feminine moves at some dances, but majority thinks hoshi stans are just biased lol, im glad you like his dancing

ig it’s because he has a high control of his body so compared to others it might seem lacking but in fact it’s more on the side where he knows when to control his movements and when to loosen them which is not easy thing, people tend to think ahh he can’t execute this move like others and when in fact it’s how it supposed to be idkkk ig it also depends on the dancing styles some people prefer more powerful dances but personallyI appreciate those who can control it because it’s definitely not an easy thing to do at all

You are right about control actually, it was especially obvious at Hit, there is a move both Minghao and Hoshi do, and they look very different at details from each other o.o i found your explanation very logical tbh 

The move at 1.13 (just start from there)- Hoshi center

The move at 3.04 (start from here again)- Minghao center

I mean i have no training etc, but their hand moves and legs are very different from each other when compared o.o

I see the difference in their body control but I would put more on their hands, the8 hands are longer so the moves can look slightly different 

also as center dancers they def put their own style on the moves which is normal

like look at hoshi feet how he moves them and left them slightly to execute the moves, shows the body control he has

I guess it's probably listed from the group OP liking instead cause if you're saying it's for the newer groups, SHINee is a group back in 2008, Infinite is in 2010, EXO 2011 and yet Infinite were not in the list

I do have TVXQ in my mind too but that's a group walking in the scene since 2003 so maybe they don't know that too sdkajfs

But yeah Infinite has been inactive since after Sunggyu went to military. L contract expired and I think the rest also went for military duty or public service works. For now only Sunggyu is back since he's part of the "With Woollim" project song with the rest of woollim's groups.

Though, I'm interested to see if 2PM would challenge themselves into this trend and comeback someday. But this is just my random thought.

It's pretty interesting to see this kind of analysis. If this make it into a segment of idol variety shows, I think newer groups gonna work so hard to top SVT due to this lol
