Do you find fansigns creepy?

It just seems so awkward when the idol asks stuff like "did you eat?" or when they hold the fans hand because its required and not because its a natural gesture lol.  I dunno I would cringe so bad if I had to play along with that kind of interaction.  Its almost like the idols are being pimped out to provide a 15 second boyfriend experience for their fans (clientele).

(btw this girl is hilarious and bold af so I'm not talking about her in anyway or even straykids,  I just think some of the scripted y/n stuff that idols have to say/do is creepy)

Not really, I just find creepy when fans ask idols to wink or to do smth for them, as if they were toys, I know it's harmless, but it's just weird for me...

edit: although now that you mention it, yeah, I totally hate the "did you already eat?" question.

They are a necessary annoyance, but they can be enjoyable in some occasions. The problem is always the companies that force the groups to do way more than necessary. Too greedy.

they can get weird but that's because of the fans, i guess

the concept of a fanmeet isn't that odd to me because meet & greets have existed for a long time now lol

Thats true about meet and greets being a thing for a long time, but its usually for fans to express how they have been affected by their idol or maybe asking questions about their idols work.  Like can you imagine fans putting stickers on JK Rowling's face and having her wear their favorite clothing item/plushy so they can get her "essence" lol.  The Kpop industry takes it to a whole new level.
