or u just dont understand their humor bc of the age difference

I find that Gen Z find offensive everything, while for example me, Gen X, make fun of EVERYTHING, maybe that's why...... and they are way conservative to the right/left

just bc u grew up in a ice age where making fun of everything was okay doesnt mean its actually funny, people are just more aware of these things now. its not "finding everything offensive" its just people calling out shit thats not ok

Oh boy..... i think we with our racial, homophobic, slut shaming jokes were an abyss and a half more inclusive that the previous gens and the boomers, and we MEAN IT, we are practical ppl if i had to round it out

Boomers think racism , misogyny and predatory jokes are funny

Add bullying

In the boomer perspective resist bullying is like a mechanism of resistance for be more stronger if you not resist you deserve the bullying for being weak

Older Gen humour mostly consist of degrading the same minority/groups of people, which is the easy way to make jokes for them for some reason.
It's like a child tryna make funny joke and just burst out of laughed saying some edgy or offensive word. That's what olden gen humour reminds me of.

If we getting away from this finally then yes please i'll take it.

I was born in 1994 so idk if I'm considered very early Gen Z or very late millenial but I prefer the current gen jokes over the boomer jokes that like other people have said were mostly about degrading and making fun of the same minorities and then if they're called out they spew the tired "you're too oversensitive". At least Gen Z are socially aware and make an actual effort to solve the problems of the society.

I think Hanna Gatsby with Nannete made an snearing argument about a lot of things mentioned in this topic, but i think many ppl forget that Gen X started the inclusivity of many minorities but with activism and sense of humor, sense of humor that was not scarce of calling someone a f*ggot or the N word, or calling someone r*t*rded but it was a mode of copying and owning the word, and we considered all of our gen equal and we were friends irl not on a facebook post or in an TikTok collab, we weren't posing in an IG post on a rally of BLM .....
