would park bom be better off if she didn't become an idol?

Recommended Posts

she is just an example, many idols just like any human being go through extenuating mental circumstances whether in their trainee life or before, is it a wise decision for them to debut and live the hectic life of an idol? Or would they be better off living a lowkey life and at least suffering away from the public eye and surrounded by their loved ones.

Note: i am talking about idols suffering from mental disorders

Thoughts?

For herself, I don't think so. No matter what you do, you can't stop people from criticizing and hating her, and there's only so much that you can take, no matter who is on the receiving end.

But, for others, for her fans and those who know of her, it can be a source of inspiration. I mean, she's suffering from depression, and still, she still fought for her dreams even though she was rejected many times before.

She deserves the respect.

as long as she happy as of what is she doing

if she's not a singer she probably become psychologist

if the incident didnt happen she can even be soccer player

and she even told if she not an idol anymore she will be vocal teacher

im not sure if she will be better in other field but for me what important is she's happy

as of now she's happy doing roommate..hope she can continue that

I don't think so

She's living her dream, something she so desperately wanted. She is stronger than it seems;

Coming back every year to audition in an age where it's not so easy anymore, going through her trauma + psychological therapy while being in the eye of the public. Getting so many criticism on the way she looks even though i'm sure she's the biggest critic of herself.

She gets tons of hate and criticism but on the other hand she's getting a lot of love she wouldn't be able to get

if she wasn't doing this. she really needs those feeling of acceptance, love and approvement.

I have a question.

Was Bom born in a rich family? or was she average/poor?

Her family is quite well off. She and her sister were both educated in private prep schools and attended prestigious music schools (Berklee for Bom and Vienna School of Music and Peabody Institute/John Hopkins U for her sister). Her sister is a cellist who's quite famous in her own right.

As an idol then yeah. I mean she really wanted to be a singer and maybe being a solo singer would have been best for her

She is a survivor.

Just don't commit suicide Bommie. We all know that Koreans are very weak emotionally. The rate of suicidal is very high.

What does being weak emotionally have anything to do with Koreans?! You're a mess

Fuck no?

She's set for life now. Whatever mental health problems she may have, she is obviously very highly functional so....

It's not like she's Lindsay Lohan, getting arrested and shit all the time. Almost none of these people would be better off without money and fame, get real.

I think she is definitely worse off. It might have been her dream but the reality was probably different to what she expected, with all the criticism and hate etc. If you've got issues to begin with I don't see how being in the limelight would make it any easier.

true..
