Idols with real potential of having toptier level in acting?

Meanwhile 2nd gen names like Yoona, Suzy, L, Siwan, Park Hyunsik are becoming good names in acting area, which idols have potential of follow them?

siwan and kyungsoo will always be above the usual idols trying to act , so many idols tried to jump on that part of the industry with literally no preparation

I didn't love Cha Eunwoo's acting in Gangnam Beauty, I don't think the cool handsome characters actually suit him. He did so much better playing a dorky Prince in Rookie Historian Goo Haeryung. I hope he chooses more funny and quirky roles, he does well in them.

I agree for these actors/idols.

I personally think Jaemin from NCT Dream would be good just because he's really great at saying cringey stuff with a straight face.

I'd like to see ITZY Lia try, and I think Irene will eventually make it as an actress regardless of whether she's good or not just because of her visuals.

Yes, because how do you know? Plus I also find that many actors/actresses aren't that much better than some idols that people are so awful. 

Some of them might want to be actors first but their company makes a deal with them first telling them to debut first in a group and then will let them act.

Yeah obv Kyungsoo and Siwan are on another level rn but Jinyoung definitely has the potential to rise and his current drama is good too

I'm proud of what Kyungsoo achieved but I'm also cautious about branding him an idol. I'm afraid SM is going to hold him back. I hope he'll continue being lucky with projects.

For females I'll also say Yoona has a pretty good future in acting and a decent filmography to date. And she's obviously pushed by SM in this regard. She seems to have more luck in movies than dramas, Confidential Assignment and EXIT grossed really well. Though it's not necessarily due to her star power but it's still something added to her resume.

How can u consider "toptier" level in acting? I think provided they work hard and know what they're good at, they'll have their places in the film/drama industry. They might not be A-list actresses/actors, but they'll have good projects.

Btw I'm only here to promote Sohye, who's got rookie nomination in Baeksang and Chunsa Awards for an indie film. She also got much praise by Kim Hee-ae when working tgt. She was an actor trainee before an idol so don't know if it counts lol

I think in the toptier level of having a good carreer with good name as actor/actress in the future beyond the idol life what it's not eternal.

Sohye started as actress with awards and praises from big names from korean industry. So she has a shining future.
