They can.

Nobody said there wouldn't be consequences. Most fans are very well aware of how companies and Kpop idols are scrutinized. 

I think it means much more that she spoke out about it. Ok, her Instagram got deleted? At least fans and people who are suffering at the hands of racism and police brutality are probably feeling more supported. She has a platform and she used it to stand for what was right. Deactivated Insta or not, this was good, and honestly silence is compliance in a movement like this. It sucks that her Instagram got deleted but her decision valued the movement over something shallow like the potential consequences (deleted post or Insta). This movement is bigger than that, she stood up for what was right, and I'm sure many of her fans are proud.  

Every voice counts in a movement like this.
