Translation of the interview
Trend Health Magazine Interview Portion

Q: Does Tao really like to cry a lot?
Luhan: Everyone cries.
Tao: When we celebrated Suho’s birthday on Seoul, he also cried on stage.
Lay: Tao is a very emotional person.

Q: Who has the biggest difference on and off stage?
Luhan: Don’t look at me! This is a good question.
Lay: Why are you getting worked-up? Haha, actually everyone is a little different. Because when you are on stage, there are times when you can’t open up emotionally.
Tao: Like I’m a little introverted.

Q: Is this because it’s unfamiliar? Or because there are family members/friends in the audience, or because all eyes are on you?
Tao: Not really. Sometimes I will try to look into audience members, but most of the time, I’m totally focused on the performance, so I don’t really think about it.

Q: How do you release pressure?
Lay: The bigger the stress, the more Kris will sleep. Haha.
Kris: I'm not always sleeping. When tired, I don’t think about it much. When we are free, we try to think of ways to turn pressure into motivation. Try to read more, to learn some life philosophy.
Chen: I often go running with Lay, and exercise in the gym.
Luhan: I play soccer with Xiuim almost every Tuesday.

Q: Which team do you want to watch in the World Cup?
Xiumin: Korean team, also Argentina. Because I like Messi. I think I’m similar to him. We are both not tall.
Luhan: But play soccer well.
Xiumin: Thanks.

Q: What do you do if you have to pull an all-nighter?
Lay: Drink lots of water, try to use natural remedies.
Kris: Sleep more.
Luhan, Tao, Chen, Xiumin: Haha.

Q: When did you realize you got popular?
Luhan: I still don’t feel I’m that popular. We still have a long road ahead of us.
Lay: There are still a lot of people who don’t recognize us when we walk on the street. Especially in airports, a lot of people don’t understand why there are so many fans following us. So, through our hard work, we want to get the recognition from the public. When we are in China, I try to add my Chinese name in my introduction so people know that some of us are Chinese

Q: Are the Chinese members good hosts when in China?
Lay: Every time we are in Changsha, everyone always eats the shrimp and other snacks my Mom brings.
Xiumin: I really like Chinese food. Fried rice, very tasty.
Chen: I like hot pot. In China, you have to eat the food here.
Luhan: When we were coming here, I caught a glimpse of the Great Wall. We want to go to a lot of places. But we don’t want to…just because we wanted to go, and a lot of fans will come along, that will disrupt the other tourists. Patience. I’m sure there will chances in the future.

Q: What do you want to say to your past self and your future self?
Chen: You’ve work hard in the past! In the future you have to work harder!
Kris: Short and to the point.
Luhan: Nice!
Lay, Tao, Xiumin: Clap.

Q: Lastly, everyone talk about your idol.
Xiumin: My dad.
Lay: Mom. Actually, I like a lot of stars that everyone likes.
Chen: TVXQ seniors.
Kris: Don’t have one.
Tao: I look more at someone’s work.
Luhan: Christiano Ronaldo. When he first got to Manchester United, I liked him right away for his hard efforts.

Luhan looks very inviting, just laying like that next to the pool.

Considerate and humble bb, thinking of other tourists. And that xiuhan.

Too bad Portugal is already out of the running so I guess they're rooting for Argentina now.
