Well this is juicy. Hongkong actors Kenneth Ma and Lawrence Ng were guests on the latest episode of talk show Tiger’s Talk, where they spoke about their experience with “bad girls”. And no, Kenneth did not mention his ex-girlfriend, Jacqueline Wong.

 

Love doesn't come easy

Instead, the 46-year-old revealed that he once had a female co-star make advances on him while he was filming in China. According to Kenneth, he wasn’t very close to said co-star, but she readily shared her hotel room number with him, for a “secret meeting”.

“I didn’t go, of course,” Kenneth said, adding, “Once you go in, there’ll probably be a group of men waiting to catch you. It's a trap, it isn’t love.”

 

 

And the plot thickens...

After hearing what Kenneth said, Lawrence added, “I've heard of people who share their room number with everyone [on set]. They’ll go, “I’m [in] Room 106, Kenneth, it’s room 106, okay?”. They would give it to everyone, even the cameramen.”

When the hosts pressed Lawrence for more details, the 56-year-old revealed that said actress was “attractive" and that she “has a huge following”. 

 

 

 

 

Any publicity is good publicity?

Lawrence then went on to share that the actress is an A-lister and is, um, “well-known” among production staff in China because of this. ”This bad woman is so bad, every night she’s giving out her room number,” he added.  

Once the episode was aired, netizens had a field day trying to guess the identity of the, well, free-spirited actress, throwing out names like Yang Mi because she is attractive and has a huge following, and Fan Bingbing because one of the hosts asked if her name contained repeated words.

 

 

So... who could it be?

Some other netizens were more logical with their guesses, and started naming the dramas Kenneth and Lawrence had filmed in China. They quickly ruled out the actresses that Kenneth is close with, like his Big White Duel co-star, Natalie Tong as well as his Bet Hur co-star Charmaine Sheh, since Kenneth had mentioned that he wasn’t close with the co-star who had propositioned him. 

Similarly, Lawrence has filmed quite a number of projects in China in recent years, making it hard to narrow down the names. Some of the bigger names that he has worked with include Cecilia Liu, Gulnazar and Tiffany Tang.
