It only takes a little while for Yoongi to be fully an artist.
the amount of articles used against him shows that people will look for him and see his songs whether good or bad the publicity, his music does not lie.

my brother who doesn't like kpop is very proud of his mixtape.

Everything that has been translated so far have been comments from Nate. A K-site with a Kpop niche.  Non-fans/trolls who are choosing to focus on negative articles. However there are positive articles being spread to the general public too. And they're not from Bighit, it's just journalist doing their job. There are many Koreans supporting and forgiving Yoongi despite what Nate want you to believe.

I give you an example I always saw controversial news about Ariana Grande but after listening to her music I couldn't hate her, that will happen to yoongi, her music is not a joke, here in LATAM there are very good reactions to her mixtape and they say because he is part from BTS if he's very talented.

Most of the Latin pg do not like Army but the radios play the songs of BTS without knowing what their fandom  (causes grace)
Furthermore, AgustD has a lot of potential in capturing new followers, which is why they see it as a threat.

Yea, I understand what you were saying, bad publicity is good publicity. I'm sure he will gain even more male fans in Korea. His mixtape is getting even more attention.

I was just letting you know that overall it's not all negative. That the people being the loudest are actually just a small Kpop niche of non-fans and antis/trolls.

The general public are not turning their backs on BTS or Yoongi. Just like 97 line case, many are probably not even aware of this. If BTS ever get themselves in a huge problematic controversy we'll know. For starters, no one will be able to shield them from the backlash in Korea. Not even the Armys.
